Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting/taxation.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and tax notices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Analytical, Troubleshooting, and documentation skills; capable of independent problem-solving.
• Ability to explain complex topics to non-technical customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related questions, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings clearly via Zendesk, emails, and phone support.
• Independently investigate issues and identify root causes; coordinate with specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Learn and adapt to proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
