Job summary

Spines is seeking an experienced US Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to deliver specialized Level 2 support for complex customer inquiries in US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. The role emphasizes genuine technical accounting judgment and independent issue resolution.

Work hours align with 8:00 AM-8:00 PM ET, with schedules staggered for US business hours. Remote position based in Argentina, requiring strong accounting and tax expertise and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience, ideally with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Ability to investigate and resolve complex accounting and tax inquiries independently.

Responsibilities

Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and transactions.
Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
Communicate technical findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
Identify root causes and coordinate with internal specialists as needed.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
