Job summary

SupportYourApp is hiring a T3 Support Engineer to troubleshoot backend, databases, and integrations. The role requires strong English, SQL skills, and experience in technical support or SRE.

You will read code, communicate clearly, and work with AWS and monitoring tools from a remote EU-friendly setup. Responsibilities include reproducing issues across web and mobile, analyzing logs, and escalating where needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent English with strong written and spoken skills (C1).
• Experience in Technical Support, SRE, or Engineering with troubleshooting focus.
• Proven customer-facing experience in a technical support role.
• Strong SQL skills with production-scale relational databases.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to customers.
• Working knowledge of PHP and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers and related logs.
• Experience with Sentry or similar error-tracking tools and Grafana.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and research abilities.
• Know when to escalate to Engineering with clear findings.
• Positive, proactive, and responsible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues escalated from T1 involving backend, databases, and cross-system integrations.
• Reproduce bugs across web admin consoles, mobile apps, and backend APIs.
• Analyze logs, error traces, and metrics to identify root causes.
• Query production databases (read-only) to validate data-related issues.
• Implement small fixes including configuration changes and data corrections.
• Escalate complex issues to Engineering with documentation and findings.
• Track incidents and outages through resolution using monitoring tools.
• Maintain runbooks and knowledge bases to reduce escalations.
• Maintain deep understanding of client solutions and KPIs.
