Job summary

BlueTuskr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to drive technical SEO across a portfolio of higher-education accounts. This fully remote role focuses on crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and AI-enabled search readiness.

You will write developer-ready specifications, supervise WordPress tweaks with Yoast or Rank Math, and design Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, and QA. This is a remote opportunity with opportunities to influence AI-driven SEO workflows.

Qualifications

5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and fixing them.
Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
Strong working knowledge of WordPress: themes, plugins, redirects, and schema.
Advanced, hands-on experience with Claude, including building agents and AI-assisted workflows.
Clear written communication and ability to own outcomes across many accounts.

Responsibilities

Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
Prioritize issues by impact and effort, defend those calls.
Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released and verified.
Handle light WordPress implementation: titles, meta descriptions, plugin-level redirects, and schema.
Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 to catch drops, errors, and indexing problems.
Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) and content structure for LLM-driven search.
Build systems that scale the SEO service.
Design and build Claude-based tools, agents, and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA.
Build content production systems turning briefs into near-publish-ready drafts.
Translate team standards into reusable systems the team can run.
Connect Search Console, GA4, crawl exports, and Ahrefs/Semrush into workflows.
Document systems, train the team, and measure time saved or results improved.
Support the team and client success.
Act as the go-to resource on technical questions.

Evaluate emerging search technologies and new tools.
