Hire Hangar, Inc. seeks a Technical SEO Lead to own the technical SEO strategy across a portfolio of higher education partners.

The role focuses on improving visibility in traditional and AI-driven search, and on building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, QA, and content production. You will write developer-ready specs, conduct comprehensive audits, and oversee WordPress tweaks while monitoring GSC/GA4 to preempt issues.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO.
• Proven track record of identifying high-impact issues and driving fixes.
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush.
• Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes precisely, including redirects and schema.
• Clear written communication: ability to write developer specs and client-ready recommendations.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts.
• Run technical audits covering crawlability, indexation, site architecture, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, structured data, redirects, and broken links.
• Prioritize issues by impact and effort, and defend decisions.
• Write dev-ready specs for web developers and client teams, then follow through until fixes are released and verified.
• Monitor Google Search Console and GA4 to detect drops and indexing issues.
• Own technical readiness for AI search (AEO/GEO) including crawler access and structured data.
• Build scalable systems for the SEO service and Claude-based tools, workflows, and QA.
