Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, building robust automation for critical user flows and ensuring quality across platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Join a globally distributed team and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and AI-assisted testing, including Electron and React Native apps. Remote work is supported with international clients.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
