Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure high quality across releases.

Strong experience in Playwright for desktop/web, WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile, and testing AI-heavy applications is highly valued. Remote, international role with USD pay and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA required.
• 3+ years automated testing required.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manual testing for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Link pass/fail conditions to bug reports.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repositories and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
