Job summary

Tether is hiring an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our product suite. You will build robust automation, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure high quality releases.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, hands-on Playwright and WebdriverIO + Appium experience, and familiarity with Electron/React Native apps on real devices. Global, remote opportunities available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
