Job summary

Fullstack is seeking a Senior Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to own end-to-end data workflows from ad accounts and CRM through Adverity into a BigQuery warehouse, with dbt/Dataform transformations and Looker Studio reporting.

You will build scalable pipelines, ensure data quality, and enable automated reporting for education-focused clients within a distributed, async-friendly team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering in marketing/agency settings.
• Experience configuring datastreams and destinations in Adverity or similar ETL platforms.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL with BigQuery transformations.
• Expertise in dbt or Dataform pipelines and version control.
• Python proficiency for API connections and automation.
• CRM data flows (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) integration experience.
• Strong understanding of marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC).
• Git and multi-client data environments with strict data segregation.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion and pipeline architecture connecting paid media platforms into Adverity and BigQuery.
• Own CRM integration to ensure lead/enrollment data flows to the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse design, partitioning and storage strategy in BigQuery.
• Own transformation pipelines in dbt or Dataform with clear naming conventions.
• Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and enforce data segregation across clients.
• Enable the reporting layer for Looker Studio dashboards and automated reports.
• Drive data quality with monitoring, validation, and root-cause analysis across stacks.
