Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Sales Advisor - Sales for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin to lead the commercial strategy and drive growth through strong customer engagement and technical expertise.

You will manage the complete sales cycle, coordinate with operations and engineering, and deliver technical presentations to demonstrate service value. A focus on cross-sell opportunities and robust CRM is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins in Vaca Muerta or similar.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement.
• Excellent communication translating technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contracts.
• Build and maintain relationships with key operators and drilling contractors.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards.
