Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Sales Advisor - Technical Sales in the Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will lead commercial strategy, manage full sales cycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

You bring a decade of experience in directional drilling, MWD/LWD, and related technologies, proven client relationships with operators, and the ability to translate technical data into commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong ability to interpret wellbore data and drilling KPIs.
• Proven experience with operators in shale basins and technical sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, and RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals to secure long-term business.
• Maintain accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence within CRM systems.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE requirements and company standards across all commercial activities.
