AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and improve cloud infrastructure within a regulated data platform in LatAm.

You will own AWS-based services (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway), administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows, and drive IaC, CI/CD, and observability improvements. The role requires 5+ years in Cloud/DevOps, strong Python scripting, and experience with incident response, monitoring, and cross‑team collaboration.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS in production.
• Advanced Kubernetes and EKS experience including reliability and observability.
• Hands-on Argo Workflows or similar orchestration.
• Terraform IaC and source-controlled infrastructure.
• CI/CD pipelines and production release processes.
• Monitoring/logging/incident-routing tools (Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Lead complex incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Automation scripting in Python/Shell/Bash.
• Strong technical decision-making and cross-team collaboration.
• English communication with client stakeholders.
• LatAm hours 9:00–18:00 ET with on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm window.
• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure for the Data Platform (EKS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows; deployment, monitoring, capacity.
• Define and improve IaC, CI/CD, release execution, and environment consistency (Terraform, Git).
• Lead observability improvements; link alerts to runbooks (Argo, dbt, Snowflake).
• Improve alert routing across Splunk, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, Teams.
• Lead major incident response, root-cause analysis, preventive actions.
• Design reliability improvements: auto-remediation, alert correlation, automation.
• Track service metrics: availability, SLA, alert volumes, deployments.
• Maintain auditability and HIPAA/GDPR/FDA-aligned controls.
• Create runbooks, procedures, architecture context, knowledge transfer.
• Mentor engineers and ensure consistent execution across teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
