AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to operate and enhance the cloud infrastructure behind an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. The role focuses on AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Terraform, CI/CD, and strong English communication.

You will own incidents, improve observability, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Data Engineering, Security, and Analytics to maintain reliability and compliance.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience operating AWS infrastructure in production.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS, including workload operations and observability.
• Hands-on experience administering Argo Workflows or similar workflow systems.
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and source-controlled practices.
• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines and production releases.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/alerting tools (e.g., Splunk, PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Ability to lead incident resolution and perform root-cause analysis for preventive improvements.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (Python, Shell, Bash).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide senior technical ownership for the Cloud/DevOps service tower during LatAm coverage window.
• Operate, maintain, and improve AWS infrastructure supporting the Data Platform (EKS, S3, EventBridge, etc.).
• Administer Kubernetes workloads and Argo Workflows (deployment, monitoring, recovery).
• Define and improve IaC standards, CI/CD, and release practices using Terraform and Git.
• Improve observability and incident response across infrastructure and data workloads.
• Lead major incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate outcomes.
• Design reliability improvements and automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Track service metrics like availability, SLA, and deployment outcomes.
• Ensure HIPAA/GDPR/FDA controls; maintain runbooks and documentation.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to cross-team collaboration.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical incidents.
