Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

You will develop data models, optimize queries, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-friendly environment. Excellent SQL, Tableau, Python, and AI tool experience are essential, with a focus on delivering actionable business insights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including maintaining models or migrating to Streamlit.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding tools Claude Code or Cursor across coding, SQL, analysis, testing and research.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets for ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate data models and calculations for accurate reporting.
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards, reports and data visualizations to support business decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities and improvements.
• Identify and validate data sources to ensure accuracy of insights.
• Interact with customers to gather requirements and deliver strong service.
• Contribute to improving data processes, tools and documentation.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leaders and product teams.
• Communicate complex data insights clearly to varied audiences.
• Navigate ambiguity and set strategy with urgency.
• Maintain high quality and attention to detail; assist teammates as needed.
