AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend services and REST APIs for a data analytics platform, integrating YouTube Creator APIs and Google Trends.

You will develop Python services using FastAPI and SQLAlchemy with static typing, manage background task processing with Celery and Redis on EKS, implement Auth0 and ReBAC, and partner on S3/Glue/Athena pipelines and Bedrock-based scoring orchestration.

Formación

• 5–7 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong Python proficiency with FastAPI and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL) and migrations.
• Asynchronous/background task processing with Celery/Redis.
• Containerized deployment with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Familiarity with object-storage data lakes (S3/Glue/Athena).
• Ability to call LLM APIs from application code.
• Mac/Linux terminal environment and AI-assisted tooling.
• Strong opinionated communication for scalable solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain scalable backend services and REST APIs consumed by the front-end.
• Integrate third-party/internal data sources at the application layer with proper auth and error handling.
• Develop containerized Python services and background workers on EKS.
• Work with AWS serverless components (Lambda, Step Functions, Beanstalk/Fargate).
• Implement authentication/authorization via Auth0 and RBAC frameworks.
• Collaborate on S3/Glue/Athena data pipelines and Bedrock-based scoring layer.
• Evaluate AI outputs critically and guide long-term maintainability.
