Persona is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to provide hands-on sales support to the co-founders and senior team of a growing B2B sales training and advisory company. You will focus on call preparation, CRM updates, research, prospecting, and executing established outreach cadences targeting private equity firms rather than developing sales strategy.

Ideal candidates bring strong executive presence, exceptional attention to detail, and a reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support, business development, or executive assistance.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems, including contact management and follow-up documentation.
• Strong research skills to identify relevant companies and decision-makers.
• Excellent written and spoken English for professional emails and executive communication.
• Strong executive presence and professionalism when working with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare briefing notes ahead of sales calls with account backgrounds and prospect information.
• Maintain HubSpot CRM records for contacts, companies, deals, notes, and next steps.
• Update CRM after calls and outbound activities.
• Research target accounts and private equity firms using online resources and AI tools.
• Build and maintain organized prospect lists according to targeting criteria.
• Execute predefined email outreach and follow-up cadences to PE firms.
• Draft personalized outreach emails using approved messaging and processes.
