AgileEngine is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs for existing or new services. You will write clean Rails code against PostgreSQL, participate in reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders to fulfill API requirements.

The role is remote with a 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm candidates. Candidates should have 3+ years in Rails, strong API design knowledge, and experience with PostgreSQL, Git, and Docker.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong command of API design patterns and Rails best practices.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON structures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
• Role follows LATAM time zone with overlaps for MDT.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
