AgileEngine is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs. You will work on API design patterns, performance, scalability, and security, writing clean Rails code against PostgreSQL.

The role is remote with a 4-hour overlap with MDT for LatAm candidates, and additional overlaps for Ukraine-based candidates. You will collaborate with stakeholders and participate in code reviews.

Formación

• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong knowledge of API design patterns and Rails best practices.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols and JSON data structures.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote setup.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements and specifications.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
