AgileEngine is seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to design, build, and maintain backend APIs with a focus on performance and security. You will write clean Rails code against PostgreSQL and participate in code reviews while collaborating with stakeholders to define API requirements.

The role is 100% remote with required overlap windows for LATAM (MDT) and Ukraine (MDT); strong English communication is essential as you will work with global teams across time zones.

Formación

• 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience.
• Strong API design, Rails best practices.
• Proficient in HTTP/JSON and PostgreSQL.
• Strong remote-work communication.
• Overlap with MDT for LATAM/Ukraine time zones.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand API requirements.
• Ensure API performance, scalability, and security.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance.
