Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, with strong automation and hands-on manual testing. You’ll contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines and ensure test reliability across platforms.

You will conduct functional, exploratory, and regression testing, collaborating with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and improve testability. Remote work is supported globally, with AI in QA experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their outputs.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
