Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build and maintain regression tests for desktop and web applications. You will execute a range of testing types, document results, and collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product releases.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA, hands-on automation, strong communication, and experience with Gherkin and test automation frameworks. This role offers flextime with remote and office options.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing and more.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and pass/fail criteria.
Identify and elevate risks to quality of the product or process.
Collaborate with product team to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
