Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing for desktop and web applications. You will build and maintain regression suites, run CI/CD pipelines, and ensure testability with developers.

Join a people-first culture delivering award-winning software to Fortune 500 brands and startups. You will write tests with Playwright/WebDriverIO, use Gherkin for BDD, and collaborate across teams to improve quality throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
3+ years of experience in automated testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Mindset focused on holistic quality.
Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing.
Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
Participate in On-Call rotation.
