Job summary

Prometeo Talent is seeking a QA Engineer to own product quality from design through release. You will build reliable test automation, improve testing strategies, and ensure quality is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.

This is a hands-on role focused on treating test automation as core engineering practice, with quality as a shared responsibility and reliability as a release requirement. Advanced English and modern tech stack are expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software development.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including object-oriented design and maintainable test code.
• Hands-on experience building UI test automation with Playwright.
• Experience running and maintaining tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced English level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and suites across UI, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Define testing strategies and plans based on risk, coverage, and release timelines.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing; identify, document, and track defects.
• Monitor and report quality metrics, promote testing best practices, and mentor engineers.
