Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation, while performing manual testing where needed. You will build reliable automated suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers to ensure high quality releases across platforms.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, use of Playwright and WebdriverIO + Appium, testing Electron/React Native apps, and leveraging AI QA tools to improve coverage and efficiency.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
