AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to lead desktop and mobile test automation while performing manual testing to ensure quality across products. You will build robust regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and investigate failures to ensure reliable releases.

Applicants should have 4+ years in QA automation, strong Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing. Remote-friendly, with collaboration across product and customer teams.

Formación

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output. Testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
