Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills to own desktop and mobile testing for our apps. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure fast, reliable validation across platforms.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability, perform functional and exploratory testing, and tailor coverage to risk. Remote-friendly role with AI QA exposure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
