Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also performs manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and investigate failures, fixing flaky tests while collaborating with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

You’ll conduct hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, selecting coverage approaches based on risk and maintaining robust

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
