Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while also handling manual testing. You will work across the product suite to ensure robust quality and fast feedback cycles in a remote, globally distributed team.

We rely on Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium to validate features on Electron, web, and mobile platforms. Experience with AI QA tools is a definite plus, and you will collaborate with developers to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Competenze

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and critically reviewing their output.

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
