Percona Support is a remote-only team delivering expert analysis for MySQL and related technologies. You will work with customers’ DBAs, gathering data and producing clear, actionable findings by email, chat, or voice, with screen-sharing for critical issues.

You’ll also write blogs, help with the knowledge base, and host webinars to benefit the open-source community. Join a global, remote workforce that values flexibility, ongoing learning, and collaboration across countries.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with MySQL and InnoDB essential.
• Experience with MySQL ecosystem tools.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, query optimization, and index tuning.
• Familiarity with backup tools like Xtrabackup and mydumper, including PITR.
• Experience with high-availability solutions (replication, proxies).
• Experience administering Linux-based systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot methodically and think creatively.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings.
• Experience working with customers in English.
• Nice-to-have Kubernetes knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Assist customer DBA teams with expert analysis and detailed write-ups via email, chat, or voice.
• Conduct screen-sharing sessions for production-impacting issues to speed resolution.
• Author blog posts, contribute to the knowledge base, and answer questions on forums.
• Host webinars and create articles for the open-source community.
• Collaborate with global teammates in a remote, async-friendly environment.
• Travel occasionally for team meetings or customer visits (as needed).
• Work with customers in English to ensure successful outcomes.
