Percona is seeking a Practice Lead for AWS to drive architectural excellence and customer outcomes across open-source databases in the AWS ecosystem. You will guide migrations, optimizations, and cost-savings while shaping strategic initiatives with AWS partnerships.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, client advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-value solutions at scale. This is a remote, globally distributed position with a strong focus on AWS expertise.

Responsabilidades

• Customer Advocacy: Act in the best interest of the customer in AWS-led engagements and ensure outcomes align with customer value.
• Existing Customer Growth: Grow value from existing AWS-based deployments, optimize performance and costs, and support migration of customers to AWS.
• Product & Partnership Influence: Advise internal teams to improve offerings for AWS workloads and collaborate with Cloud Partnership on joint go-to-market.
• Business Growth: Focus on revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction tied to the AWS practice and related services.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Percona in AWS/open-source database communities through content, talks, and conferences.
• Service Design: Architect migration & optimization engagements with strong market impact for customer adoption.
• Sales & Marketing Enablement: Act as a technical leader during pre-sales cycles and enable sales with AWS-focused campaigns.
• Practice Building: Hire and mentor a growing AWS practice team to scale impact and delivery.
