Job summary

Entrepreneur Cooperative is seeking an experienced Loan Processor & Underwriter for a fully remote role serving a U.S.-based private real estate lender. You will own underwriting, file completeness and follow-up through underwriting conditions, analyzing borrower and deal risk, collecting documents, and keeping all parties informed until close.

This role requires real-world underwriting and processing experience in hard money lending, strong judgment, persistence and outstanding borrower

Qualifications

• At least 1.5 years of hands-on experience at a U.S. hard money or private real estate lender (origination or servicing).
• Practical underwriting and loan processing experience at a comparable lender.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Availability to work 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
• Comfortable using Gmail, CRM (GoHighLevel or similar) and an online loan portal.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite business-purpose Fix & Flip, Bridge, DSCR and Ground-Up Construction loans.
• Collect, verify and organize borrower, guarantor, entity and property documents.
• Order, track and review appraisals and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Proactively follow up with borrowers, brokers and originators to resolve outstanding conditions.
• Coordinate with the closer on underwriting-related items through funding and address any post-closing deficiencies.
