Job summary

Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert assistance on US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.

The role requires strong technical accounting judgment and the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues from a remote setup in Argentina. The ideal candidate will have CPA or EA credentials (preferred), excellent English communication, and experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Zendesk.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation is required or strongly preferred.
• Ability to review tax returns, perform reconciliations, and handle payroll inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate escalated tax and accounting tickets and resolve discrepancies.
• Explain complex topics to customers and document resolutions clearly.
• Help improve workflows and knowledge resources; adapt to new internal systems.
