Hire Hangar, Inc. is seeking a Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide specialized help for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll issues. This remote role is based in Argentina, with coverage windows aligned to Eastern Time and overlapping US business hours.

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
Experience handling complex tax inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated tickets, review reconciliations and transactions.
Assist customers with tax notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
Communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email responses, and scheduled calls.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
Learn new systems and AI-assisted workflows as the client transitions from Zendesk.
