Workana Llc seeks an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Specialist to provide specialized support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries. The role requires technical accounting judgment, strong communication, and the ability to work independently to resolve complex issues.

Shifts overlap US business hours (ET), with staggered schedules managed with the client. Remote role based in Argentina, requiring CPA/EA credentials or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting/tax exposure.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently.
• Familiarity with bookkeeping, payroll, tax notices, and tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries and payroll questions.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email-style tickets and scheduled calls.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
