Job summary

Azumo is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to own production infrastructure for our AI workloads. The role covers clusters, deployment pipelines, and the monitoring that signals health, with a focus on reliability and cost efficiency.

You will work across production systems in a fully remote setting across Latin America, collaborating with AI engineers to ensure scalable, secure, and observable infrastructure that supports live workloads.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production infrastructure experience (DevOps/SRE) with Linux, networking, Git, and scripting (Bash and Python/Go).
• Kubernetes in production, provisioning, upgrades and debugging.
• IaC experience with Terraform or equivalent, with state and environment parity.
• CI/CD pipelines built/maintained — GitHub Actions, GitLab, and container images.
• Cloud deployment experience on AWS/Azure/GCP including managed Kubernetes and cost modeling.
• Monitoring and incident response using Datadog/CloudWatch; drive root-cause analysis.
• Security hardening of Linux, containers and Kubernetes.
• Cost and capacity awareness; explain cluster costs and actions taken.
• Active use of AI-assisted coding tools in real delivery work.
• Strong written/spoken English (C1+).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Own production infrastructure: clusters, deployment pipelines and monitoring.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes in production including provisioning and upgrades.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform for reproducibility.
• Create reliable CI/CD pipelines and container images.
• Ensure observability and fast incident response with root-cause analysis.
• Work inside client environments when required, aligned to client workflows.
