Azumo, a San Francisco-based software company delivering production AI at enterprise scale, seeks Forward Deployed Engineers. You will embed with clients, own the system from discovery to incident post-release, and operate inside the client’s environment with SOC 2 and HIPAA considerations where needed.

This fully remote role across Latin America aligns to the client's working day. You will lead end-to-end delivery of software, data pipelines, models, or AI systems in production, collaborating

Qualificações

• 7+ years building and shipping production software.
• Experience as the only engineer on an engagement or the first on a new client.
• Ability to work inside a client’s environment without supervision.
• Direct client-facing experience with scoped work and accountability.
• End-to-end ownership of at least one system in production, including incidents.
• Daily delivery using AI coding agents within the repository context.
• Cloud deployment experience on Azure or AWS, with Docker, CI/CD, and IaC (GitHub Actions, Terraform, or Bicep).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Own the entire delivery lifecycle: discovery, design, build, verification, release, and incident response.
• Tackle unassigned work, access, datasets, and integration challenges head-on.
• Negotiate with the client directly, offering reasons and alternatives.
• Demonstrate acceptance criteria and ensure no untested gaps.
• Ensure reproducible delivery with agent-enabled workflows and committed context.
• Work inside the client's environment with SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements as needed.
