Job summary

Azumo is seeking a proactive Business Analyst to drive software development initiatives and personalized projects from a fully remote base in Latin America. You will translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and collaborate across business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will rely on AI tools to accelerate requirements drafting, generate test cases, and create first-draft documentation, while supporting data-driven decisions with BI analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development environments.
• Solid experience in Agile environments (Scrum and Kanban).
• Experience with JIRA and Notion for backlog and documentation management.
• Professional English proficiency (C1/C2).
• Based in Latin America.

Responsibilities

• Elicit, document, and validate business requirements using interviews, workshops, and process mapping.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows for development teams.
• Lead discovery sessions and contribute to product definition with artifacts and data dictionaries.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure user stories meet Definition of Ready.
• Manage and prioritize the backlog in JIRA/Notion with the Product Owner, ensuring clear definitions and sequencing.
• Validate delivered solutions against acceptance criteria and support UAT.
• Maintain repository of project documentation with traceability and release notes.
• Create prototypes to align requirements with clients and stakeholders.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate requirements drafting and generate first-draft docs.
• Use AI-assisted analytics and BI tools to identify patterns and support data-driven decisions.
