Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking a Junior Accountant to build strong accounting fundamentals while gaining hands‑on experience with growing international companies. You’ll support accounting work across a portfolio of clients alongside experienced accountants and interact with international founders and finance teams.

You’ll learn by doing, take on more responsibility over time and gain exposure to different businesses, systems and accounting challenges in a remote, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3+ years of accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping and day‑to‑day accounting for client portfolios (AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations).
• Assist with month‑end close and keep client books accurate.
• Prepare schedules and support financial statements and management reporting.
• Review transactions for discrepancies and investigate issues.
• Support year‑end compilations, audits, reviews and tax work.
• Maintain organized client records and communicate with the team.
• Grow to work directly with clients on accounting questions.
• Help improve processes, systems and workflows.
• Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as they arise.
