Job summary

SMS Datacenter is seeking an IT Coordinator, Engineering to support engineering teams by tracking commitments, maintaining records, and ensuring deadlines are met. The role is fully remote, full-time, long-term, with GMT-7 business hours and English-language communication.

You will monitor tasks, follow up persistently, and help engineers with time tracking, documentation, and reporting. Strong organizational skills and IT terminology knowledge are essential for success in a fast-paced MSP

Qualifications

• Strong task tracking and follow-through.
• Experience documenting engineering work and statuses.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers and managers.
• Proactive identification of delays and blockers.

Responsibilities

• Provide admin and operational support to the Director of Engineering and teams.
• Track and follow up on engineering tasks, tickets, and deadlines.
• Escalate issues when delays or ownership is unclear.
• Ensure ticket updates, time tracking, and documentation are up-to-date.
• Own documentation of policies, procedures, and records.
• Prepare operational trackers, meeting notes, and reports.
