AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, backed by an Angular frontend. You will shape architecture, lead the team, and deliver robust RESTful APIs while mentoring engineers.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Angular, strong Kafka experience, and a background in domain-driven design. Flexible, remote-friendly, with USD-based compensation for a global team.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ years in Java/Spring Boot and Angular.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong Kafka and RESTful services knowledge.
• OOA/OOD fundamentals and design patterns.
• DB experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle and JPA/Hibernate.
• English: upper-intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Lead squad and ensure high engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services with Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate Angular frontend with backend.
• Transition to domain-driven architecture with bounded contexts.
• Architect scalable RESTful APIs with proper HTTP verbs.
• Mentor juniors and promote Agile practices.
• Advocate for architectural integrity and push back when needed.
