AgileEngine is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead to guide a squad and build backend services with Java and Spring Boot, complemented by an Angular frontend. The role emphasizes leadership, architecture, and delivering robust, scalable systems.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in Java/Angular, experience with Kafka, RESTful services, and domain-driven design, with an upper-intermediate English level. Flexible remote/office options exist under a flextime model.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead with ability to motivate teams and mentor juniors.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with 6+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness.
• Deep understanding of domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful services.
• Relational DB experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle; plus JPA/Hibernate.
• A backend-focused mindset with solid engineering practices.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and drive delivery while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Design and implement robust backend services using Java/Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain the Angular frontend to connect with backend logic.
• Lead modernization toward a domain-driven architecture with clear bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP semantics and scalable patterns.
• Mentor team members and promote Agile practices to grow junior developers.
• Advocate for best practices and architectural integrity, pushing back when needed.
