Overseas invites a Forward Deployed Engineer to design and build full-stack AI applications and production-grade AI infrastructure. You will own the React frontend, the Python or Node backend, the RAG pipeline, and the evaluations proving features work.

You will work directly with clients across industries, communicate trade-offs clearly, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to accelerators and standards. 100% remote, full-time, with US business hours.

Formación

• 3–5 years in software or data engineering with hands-on AI tooling.
• Strong Python and TypeScript/JavaScript with API experience.
• Experience with React frontend and at least one backend framework.
• Hands-on with RAG, embeddings, vector search.
• Specialization in at least one AI platform (Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI).
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
• Professional English at C1/C2.
• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• AI platform or cloud certification is a differentiator; if not held, obtain within two months with sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Develop user-facing interfaces in TypeScript/React and backend services in Python or Node.
• Implement agentic behavior including orchestration, tool calling, memory, and guardrails.
• Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines with embeddings and vector search.
• Connect AI systems to enterprise data via APIs and semantic layers.
• Write evaluation suites and regression tests for LLM-powered features.
• Apply engineering practices: version control, testing, CI/CD, observability.
• Deploy on GCP, Azure, or AWS and maintain data pipelines feeding AI systems.
• Use agentic coding tools like Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Cursor.
• Communicate progress and blockers to clients and leads.
• Support pre-sales with demos and effort estimations.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to accelerators and standards.
