Job summary

Overseas is seeking a Staff Accountant to own the setup and configuration of the accounting module in a custom ERP, applying US GAAP to ensure chart of accounts, inventory valuation, COGS, and reporting are built correctly from day one. You will translate product-based operations into ERP configurations, support month-end close, and collaborate with the ERP team.

This fully remote role requires availability during US business hours and offers USD compensation.

Qualifications

• Proven US accounting experience with a strong understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience accounting for a business that stocks and sells physical product including inventory valuation, COGS, and order-to-cash workflows.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting modules and how accounting is configured within enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Own the setup and configuration of the accounting module within the company's proprietary ERP system.
• Build and structure the chart of accounts to reflect the product-based business model.
• Configure workflows for order management, purchasing, inventory receipts, and sales.
