Bluelight is a leading software consultancy offering challenging projects and a collaborative culture. We are seeking a skilled Elixir backend engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable services in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with product teams, own features end-to-end, and contribute to robust testing and performance improvements while enjoying remote work and flexible hours.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework.
• Experience with OTP, distributed systems, and functional programming.
• Proven experience designing RESTful APIs and working with PostgreSQL (Ecto).

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements.
• Own features from conception to launch with clear technical specs and tests.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and continuously improve performance and scalability.
