Bluelight is expanding its rapidly growing team, seeking a skilled backend engineer with a focus on Elixir and the Phoenix framework. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and own features from conception to launch in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

You will contribute to challenging projects, emphasize code quality with tests and reviews, and stay current with Elixir ecosystem trends to drive innovations

Formación

• Proven backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Experience with OTP and distributed/concurrent systems.
• Designing and building RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.
• Relational DB knowledge (PostgreSQL) and Ecto.

Responsabilidades

• Build & Innovate: Design, build, and maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate: Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own Features: Take ownership from conception to launch, writing technical specs and clean code.
• Ensure Quality: Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to ensure quality.
• Optimize: Find and fix bottlenecks; improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with Elixir ecosystem and best practices.
