Bluelight is seeking a skilled backend developer to join our expanding team. You will design, build, and maintain high-performance services using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, delivering reliable APIs and robust data models.

You will collaborate with product managers and designers, own features end-to-end, write tests, participate in code reviews, and help improve performance and scalability. Flexible hours and remote work are offered.

Formación

• 3+ years of backend development experience with a focus on Elixir/Phoenix.
• Strong experience with OTP and distributed systems.
• Proven ability to design RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL with PostgreSQL (Ecto).
• Good product sense and commitment to building reliable, scalable systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into scalable services.
• Own features from conception to launch, including technical specs and release planning.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews to uphold quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
