Bluelight LLC is seeking a Backend Engineer specializing in Elixir and the Phoenix framework to design, develop, and optimize scalable services. You will collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into robust APIs and reliable systems.

You will own features end-to-end, write tests, review code, and continually improve performance and architecture while contributing to a growing software consultancy with a remote-friendly, fast-paced culture.

Formación

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in backend
• Strong proficiency with Elixir and the Phoenix framework
• Experience with OTP and distributed systems
• Experience designing RESTful APIs (or GraphQL) and PostgreSQL (Ecto)

Responsabilidades

• Build & maintain backend systems and APIs using Elixir and Phoenix
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements
• Own features from conception to launch with technical specs and clean code
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews
• Improve performance, scalability, and fault tolerance; stay current with Elixir ecosystem
