Job summary

Bluelight, a leading software consultancy, seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE to design and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure. You will own CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability across AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, S3), ensuring reliability and performance for client projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or DevSecOps, strong IaC skills (Terraform or CloudFormation), containerization with Docker/ECS, and on‑call experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
Hands-on with AWS services: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC.
Containerization with Docker and ECS/Fargate; CI/CD pipelines.
Security-focused with vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and compliance.
Experience supporting SOC 2 audits and client security reviews.
On-call rotations, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
Ability to overlap US business hours and work with large, complex systems.
Extreme ownership, client-focused, and detail-oriented.
