Bluelight is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to join our rapidly growing team. You will contribute to challenging, meaningful projects and help build high-quality applications for our diverse client base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3).
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with deployment automation and rollback drills.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar).
• Experience with load testing (k6 or similar) and latency/SLO benchmarking.
• Security-focused practices: vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and hardening.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audit evidence & client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Background working with large, complex systems.
• Ability to overlap US business hours.
