Job summary

Bluelight seeks an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to join our rapidly growing team. You will design, implement, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, focusing on reliability, deployment automation, and observability.

The role requires 5+ years in DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps and overlap with US business hours. You’ll work on challenging projects, support audits, and help advance our security posture while delivering high-quality applications for clients across the Americas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps experience.
• Experience with AWS services: ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, S3.
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production with multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Deployment automation with tested rollback paths and drills.
• Observability tools knowledge (OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Load testing and latency/error budget management.
• Security-first mindset including secrets management and hardening.
• SOC 2 audit evidence support and client security reviews.
• Incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
• Experience with large, complex systems and overlap with US business hours.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
